(NEWS10) -- The Saratoga Springs City Hall will serve as a public cooling station until 8 p.m. The county and surrounding regions are under a heat advisory, as heat index values are expected to reach 95-99 degrees. The public cooling station will be available whenever the National Weather Service announces a heat advisory for Saratoga Springs.The National Weather Service advises residents to stay hydrated and out of the sun. Young children and pets should not be left unattended.City Hall is located at 474 Broadway in Saratoga Springs. The Music Hall is on the third floor.

New sites added to SiCM Summer Meals program SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Schenectady Community Ministries (SiCM) announced they have added three new sites to their Summer Meals program. The initiative provides hundreds of meals to youth in the area. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! The new Summer Meals locations are at Grace and Mercy Tabernacle Baptist Church, MacGathans Townhouses, and Bethel Northside. Court hearings Thursday morning for suspects in murder of north St. Louis restaurant owner ST. LOUIS - Two people arrested and charged in connection with the robbery and murder of a beloved north St. Louis restaurant owner were due in federal court Thursday morning.The Eagleton Courthouse was where the two suspects were set to appear for a preliminary hearing at 10:00 a.m. Thursday. The suspects are identified in court documents as Larob Harris and Mekayla Johann.The victim was 38-year-old Fa Ming Pan, who went by the name of 'Randy.' Pan was the owner of 'St. Louis Kitchen' on North Kingshighway in the Fountain Park neighborhood. An employee who was with Pan was also shot, that person survived. Two lives lost: Did 911 fail during St. Louis storm? The crime unfolded outside the restaurant on the night of May 30. Employees and others held a vigil for Pan and the other victim not long after the tragedy.Court documents call the case a targeted and pre-planned robbery. Man accused of breaking into dialysis center and auto shop ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A St. Louis County man has been charged with breaking into a Florissant dialysis center and later stealing a truck from an auto repair business.According to a report filed by the Florissant Police Department, the break-ins happened on June 21. The first incident occurred at the DaVita Cross Keys Dialysis near New Halls Ferry Road and Lindbergh Boulevard. An employee at the dialysis center called police after she encountered a strange man in a secured area of the business. OceanGate owner suspends operations following fatal implosion The company that owned a submersible that fatally imploded on its way to explore the wreck of the Titanic said Thursday it has suspended operations.OceanGate, a company based in Everett, Washington, owned the Titan submersible that is believed to have imploded as it made its descent on June 18 in the North Atlantic. The implosion killed all five people on board, including Stockton Rush, the submersible's pilot and the chief executive officer of the company.The company's website said Thursday that it “has suspended all exploration and commercial operations.”The Coast Guard is investigating the implosion.OceanGate is based in the U.S. and OceanGate Expeditions, a related company that led the Titan’s dives to the Titanic, is registered in the Bahamas.
